Quilling in Mrs. Adams Math Class
Our 5th graders are diving into paper quilling to bring geometry to life without just staring at a textbook. By rolling and pinching paper into precise shapes and symmetrical patterns, they’re getting a hands-on feel for things like proportions, fractions, and spatial layouts. It’s a fun, creative way to build the strong visual math skills they'll need later on, plus it gives their fine motor skills a great workout.
