Shenendehowa Board of Education Seeks Candidate to Fill Vacancy

The Shenendehowa Board of Education is seeking interested candidates to fill a vacant board seat through June 2026.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and otherwise meet the criteria outlined in the Shenendehowa Board of Education Policy 1210.

Candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume via email to District Clerk Kathy Wetmore-Chase at wetmkath@shenschools.org. Materials may also be hand-delivered to the District Office, 5 Chelsea Place, Clifton Park, NY 12065. The deadline for submissions is 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.

Next steps: On Dec. 4, the District Clerk will notify qualified applicants of the next steps in the process and provide three screening questions for the applicants to respond to in writing and return to the District Clerk by 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025.
