Mission Statement: 

The Shen Educational Foundation endeavors to support Shenendehowa students by funding grants to improve learning and build community.  An investment in education is an investment in the future.

We Want You! The Foundation is looking for creative thinkers who are willing to roll up their sleeves and put boots on the ground to get things done. The Shen community has a lot of talent; from potential financial donors, to high energy movers and shakers, to those who have an affinity to being a Plainsmen.

Who We Are

The Shenendehowa Central School Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization. Tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation ensure support of the students and staff of the Shenendehowa School District today and tomorrow. Contribution options include planned giving, matched giving, annual fund campaigns, in-kind contributions and volunteering. Our Core Values drive the efforts and endeavors of the Foundation:

The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation shall comprise alumni and friends of Shen, who want to support the future of our students by encouraging and rewarding innovation in the classroom, providing educational opportunities for students and staff, and fostering a school culture of commitment to excellence for and by all students.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors that represent alumni, parents, community and business leaders acting in accordance with the established by-laws and legal parameters. The board of directors determines the distribution of the funds designated for innovative educational grants.

Apply for a Foundation Grant

Access to the Shenendehowa Educational Funds can be accessed by filling out our Grant Application. The application provides a framework with which the Foundation can assess the merits and determine the level of funding that can be made to the requesting organization/person(s). All requests MUST fill out the Grant Application form to be considered.
